Website Accessibility


The Libraries website will meet state of Texas guidelines for accessibility as outlined by the State Web Site Guidelines, Web Accessibility & Usability Section. Additionally, the Libraries website will work to meet the Priority 2 level checkpoints of the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Accessibility Checkpoints for page owners
  1. Page owners should tag their page content semantically
  2. All images must contain alternative text
  3. All multimedia must have a text alternative and/or be captioned
